About The Association
The South Carolina Association for Financial Professionals (formerly South Carolina
Treasury Management Association - SCTMA) is the Primary Resource for many South Carolina
Treasury Management Professionals. Since 1979, the Association has afforded members
unparalleled opportunities to share, debate, and expand the knowledge of Treasury Management
principles. SCAFP is a nonprofit organization that provides a forum for the exchange of
ideas, discussion of legislative, regulatory, and banking issues and developments, as well
as the opportunity to network with other Treasury Management professionals.
The South Carolina Association for Financial Professionals is an affiliate
chapter of the Association for Financial Professionals, a national organization. Through
forums, conferences, exhibits and publications, the AFP serves as a gateway between
corporate treasury managers and vendors of treasury services. The AFP has profound
influence on issues pertaining to treasury management by maintaining active committees
for government relations and industry standards. Additional support is provided to
affiliates through the Education/Audit, Legal and Insurance Committees.
About Our Members
The Association is comprised of members from the financial, industrial and governmental
communities. Membership is open to all corporations, banks, financial institutions, financial
service vendors and municipalities located within or having treasury management related
operations or services in South Carolina.
