Starting in the Fall of 2006, the SCAFP established an additional scholarship award to individuals within South Carolina wishing to obtain their Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification.

SCAFP will award two (2) CTP Scholarships per year to pay for the registration fee with AFP to take the CTP exam, registration to Cash Adventure to attend the CTP Educational Track and if the applicant successfully obtains their CTP, SCAFP will pay the first year's registration fee to attend the SCAFP Cash Adventure Conference as a CTP.

Initial Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be employed in South Carolina;
• Must meet all requirements as outlined by the National AFP. This can be found on the National AFP website under CTP certification;
• Must meet all general eligibility criteria.

Application Process:
Applicants interested in applying must submit the following:

1. Completed Scholarship Application Form (PDF)
2. A one-page summary of specific treasury qualifications
3. Provide resume of work history
4. Provide a discussion document based on the latest developments in the Treasury Management field and why you should be awarded this scholarship. Do not exceed more than 3-5 double-spaced pages excluding any attachments.

Selection:
The SCAFP Scholarship Committee will review the application and make recommendations to the Board of Directors. The SCAFP Board will approve the final selection.

Funding:
Funding for this scholarship will be based on proceeds from our Cash Adventure Conference each year.
